Zafar is a Partner at Cooper Young and leads our Restructuring & Insolvency specialism. He is a licensed Insolvency Practitioner in the UK and a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
Zafar brings with him over 35 years of hands on experience working in high pressure distressed situations involving small and medium sized business as well as individuals. His expertise include pre and post-appointment advice to companies in distress including undertaking a review of restructuring options, implementing formal appointments along with dealing with HMRC and lenders on behalf of his clients.
His recent experience includes being formally appointed as the Liquidator and advising the board of directors of a large gaming conglomerate; dealing with HMRC on behalf of a construction company; being appointed Liquidator to an online retailer dealing with eBay, Google and PayPal; and being appointed Administrator to a storage company providing long-term storage options.

Manish is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, having qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1982. With almost 40 years of experience in advising small and medium sized businesses, Manish leads our audit, accountancy & tax engagements.
Manish has significant experience providing strategic and operational advice to businesses, including advice on corporate structure, funding, as well as ongoing accounting and tax support. He expertise also encompasses helping his clients deal with shareholder disputes, tax planning, HMRC investigations, estate planning and businesses looking to raise finance. His client portfolio includes companies focused on Healthcare and Care Homes industries, Retail & Leisure, Real Estate, Business Services, Technology as well as charitable foundations.

Zain brings with him almost ten years of transactional experience including corporate insolvency, debt restructuring, liquidity management, financial due diligence, business plan forecasting and reviews.
Zain qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PwC, London where he worked in both their Transaction Services and Restructuring practice. He subsequently moved to Alvarez and Marsal, London where he was a Director and advised corporate and private equity clients on M&A and restructuring options.
His previous experience includes advising both owner-managed and private equity owned businesses, across a range of industries including retail, leisure and hospitality, healthcare, insurance, technology and exhibition management. Zain is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and is a licensed corporate Insolvency Practitioner in the UK.

Ammar is a senior member of our audit, accounts and tax team and acts for a range of owner-managed businesses, including sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. He specialises in providing services and advice including preparation of annual accounts, tax returns, incorporation, business development and acquisitions.
Ammar is also responsible for leading the on field audit work for our clients.

Rehan qualified as a chartered accountant with Deloitte in 2017, having worked within their audit and tax practices before moving to industry.
